Job Overview:
Sri Lakshmi Tractors, a leading Mahindra tractor dealership, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Warehouse/Logistics Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the storage, distribution, and inventory of Mahindra tractor parts and machinery. This role ensures that our products are delivered to customers promptly and accurately while maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of Mahindra tractors (Oja, Yuvraj, Jivo, XP Plus, SP Plus, Yuvo Tech +, Arjun, Novo) and their parts.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage stock levels to ensure accurate inventory records and timely restocking.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and manage the delivery of tractors and parts to customers, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, training new employees, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate, properly documented, and in good condition.
- Supplier and Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers to coordinate the procurement of parts and machinery and ensure timely deliveries.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment for both internal service teams and external customers, including handling special requests or urgent orders.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and storage systems, are properly maintained and in safe working condition.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and warehouse organization to meet safety regulations and create a safe working environment.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on warehouse operations, stock levels, and delivery performance to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse/Logistics Manager or similar role, preferably in the automotive, agricultural, or machinery sector.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics coordination.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with agricultural machinery, such as Mahindra tractors.
- Knowledge of logistics software or ERP systems.
